Safety
What we're doing to help keep you safe

The safety of our patients and staff remains our top priority. Although we have always maintained rigorous safety and cleaning standards, we are now enhancing our cleaning and safety protocols to align with Health Canada, Ontario Ministry of Health, and the City of Toronto’s COVID-19 guidelines. Please note that all procedures outlined below are subject to change based on the aforementioned guidelines.

Cleaning

  • All staff have received comprehensive training on COVID-19 safety and cleaning protocols which meet and exceed federal guidelines
  • The Clinic is deep cleaned each night prior to reopening the following day
  • Our team will be cleaning the Clinic throughout the day using cleaning products that are Health Canada approved for effective use against bacteria and viruses including COVID-19
  • We have scheduled extra time in-between appointments to allow for proper cleaning of treatment rooms between every in-person visit

COVID-19 Screening

  • All patients are required to complete a COVID screening 24 hours in advance of their appointment
  • Patients will again be screened when they arrive at the Clinic for their appointment

Appointments

  • Patients and practitioners will be required to wear a mask throughout the duration of their visit
  • Hand sanitizer is available for your use before entering the Clinic
  • We have scheduled extra time in-between appointments to allow for proper cleaning of treatment rooms between every in-person visit
  • Please arrive no more than 2 – 3 minutes prior to the start of your appointment to reduce patient crossover and time in the waiting room
  • If possible, please attend your appointment alone, to help us reduce possible exposures for all and to help us maintain physical and social distancing at the Clinic. If someone does attend with you, we ask that they wait outside the Clinic whenever possible
  • Patient is required to bring their own change of clothes and towels, if needed for their appointment

Our Staff

  • Our practitioners are required to wear a medical grade mask to treat patients in close contact, at a minimum
  • We realize we are in close contact with many of our patients during an appointment, so we will also be wearing required personal protective equipment to provide an extra layer of protection for both patients and staff, as indicated on a case by case basis
  • Reception staff will wear a medical grade mask
  • We’ve installed a plexiglass barrier at the front desk
  • All staff are required to follow handwashing protocols as set by the Ontario Ministry of Health
  • Practitioners self-monitor daily before coming to the Clinic for signs and symptoms of illness, and report to management for further recommendations set forth by the Ministry of Health
