Most clients come to a session with their personal trainer ready to work, but very few come as prepared as Michael!
Beginning in 2006, Michael has joined me at the Toronto Athletic Club three times a week for training; and we’ve been consistently working together ever since.
Before even stepping into the Club on training days, Michael walks from home to the TAC – that’s a 40 minute walk! He counts this walk in as his warmup before our training session, and it guarantees that he’s always ready to go when he arrives at the Club!
During our training sessions, we complete full bodied workouts, featuring exercises aimed at improving Michael’s overall strength and endurance. In the past, we’ve layered interval training into his regular routine, which has included rowing and treadmill intervals.
Over the years, Michael has become very conscience of his diet, wanting to learn more about how he can fully optimize his training through his nutrition. This is something we’ll continue to work on together, helping to improve and strengthen Michael’s overall health and fitness.
Building upon his diet consciousness, within the last 6 months, Michael has lost 10 lbs. and has participated in a Biggest Loser weight loss competition at his office; a great recent accomplishment for him!
Michael is a fantastic client to work with. I find myself looking forward to our sessions every week, and am truly excited to continue on his fitness journey right alongside him!
